Where did the idea for YouHaveAProject.com come from?
This is obviously an idea that's been played with already so the source of the idea
is the same. I wanted to make the complicated areas of life simpler. In terms of
work, I've dealt with the run around of trying to outsource work and advertise my
own abilities and it becomes quite a hassle. I decided it was time to do something
about it. I already do a lot of work on the Internet and computer therefore I
decided to combine the two and create a networking system to help people find work
and find freelancers/entrepreneurs without all the run around.
You said the idea has been played with already. What makes you stand out from the
competition?

The system I am using is very simple. It's not confusing to register or bid on a
job. Keeping everything simple is the main focus I want to portray. If this is a
site meant to simplify finding someone to handle your project or finding a project
to complete yourself than why not make the site easy to handle as well? There are
many sites with the same concept but they are incredibly difficult to figure out and
this is what I want to avoid. If you look at Kijiji.com or Lespac.com they offer a
very similar service but offer a variety of products as well as services. What's
missing from their website is that you can't complete any transactions online. You
must go out of your way to figure out a transaction system and then how you will
receive your product or service. I wanted to keep the domain within the service
providers and the clients. By also making available the option to process and
complete your transactions online creates even more benefits for members of my site.
What\'s more is that I have made it easier for freelancers and clients to find who
they are looking for directly in the town they reside in. By narrowing down there
search by location simplifies the whole process. These things are what will make
YouHaveAProject.com stand out.

Do you think that there are enough entrepreneurs/freelancers to sustain your website?

Of course. This is the new fad. Everyone wants to be there own boss and avoid the
hassle of employers. This generation is taking a grasp on their future full force
and I want to maximize this opportunity. With the amount of lay offs from vast
companies and the difficulties of finding legit jobs so many people have resorted to
working out their own thing. If they can't work for a great company they'll make
work for themselves and create a profit. This concept holds such a prospect because
I'm not charging an arm and a leg for the use of the
http://www.youhaveaproject.comsite. There are fees to become a premium member and
minimal fees for processing transactions but these are only to uphold the website
financially. This is very inviting for freelancers/entrepreneurs to make use of
when they need a way to get their names out without emptying their pockets.

Is there a limit to the types of freelancers/entrepreneurs that can register on
YouHaveAProject.com?

None whatsoever. You don't have to be a professional or have completed a course in
your domain to be liable to register on our site. My definition of a freelancer is
someone who is trying to do his or her own thing and make it work. These types of
people can range from teenagers mowing lawns for extra cash, graphic designers
trying to build their reputation, tattoo artists aiming to give their name
credibility, writers of all kinds trying to make a living and so on. More often we
see a freelancer or an entrepreneur described as programmers, website designers,
graphic designers, writers, etc. They have been stereotyped as a select few and I
want to broaden this field. Almost anyone, few and far between, can put himself or
herself on http://www.youhaveaproject.com and start paving their future of success.

Do you offer any guarantees for the people that are using your site to complete a
project or start a new one? And how does your payment system work?

I don't offer any guarantees because the quality of the project being done or the
customers an entrepreneur/freelancer is looking for is still their responsibility.
I am only the liaison between the two parties. When agreements concerning payments
or deadlines are being made I am not responsible for making sure they go through.
That is strictly upon the terms that the two parties reach between themselves. I
want to provide a great opportunity for these two parties to find each other and
create a project, but that's as far as my accountability goes.
In regards to how money can be sent and received throughout the community of
freelancers and consumers, I've decided to use Escrow. This is a service that will
show the freelancer that the money is waiting for them but they can only withdraw it
once the consumer has agreed the project has been completed. This system is helpful
because it shows the freelancer they are not being scammed and it becomes their
motivation. As well, the consumers will not be paying countless freelancers before
hand without having their job completed. Escrow offers a very trustworthy service
and creates a link of confidence between the freelancer and client.
